Let’s Read!

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. I heard nothing but good things about this book. If I was reading it somewhere out in public, sometimes people would come up to me to ask me how I was enjoying it or tell me how much they loved it. Sometimes not all books live up to their hype, however I am happy to say this one certainly did. This is Celese Ng’s 2nd book, but my first time reading anything of hers. It’s a rather short book, a little under 350 pages, but it is packed full with a great story line. It’s about a small town, where they are deliberate in how they live, who they allow to live there, and how they choose to view life (the right’s and the wrong’s.) One resident, Mrs. Richardson definitely takes this to heart and becomes bothered when a tenant rubs her the wrong way. Set in the 90’s, this book will most definitely have you think about how you view life, the people in it, and the choices you choose to make. Overall theme; life, motherhood, adolescence.
