Hello my lovely people. Welcome back to part 3 of 4 of February’s Talk Tuesday theme. Every Talk Tuesday in February will be dedicated to my favorite love movies with a majority Black cast. So let’s hop to it. My third movie is…. Waiting to Exhale. I love everything about this movie. We were blessed with an outstanding cast that included Whitney Houston, Angela Bassett, Lela Rochon and Loretta Devine. Then we got a big bonus with that amazing soundtrack. I mean I have said it before, Waiting to Exhale has got to have one of the best soundtracks ever made. You know one of the main things I love about this storyline is that at it’s core, this movie isn’t necessarily all about the romance, it’s really about the relationship between this group of friends. They see each other through highs and lows in life, and yes there is romance sprinkled in those moments but that’s not the heart of the movie. I truly believe that the relationship we have with our friends are just as important as the romantic relationships in our lives.
